Mark Steinberg, agent for Tiger Woods states that the golf pro is undergoing surgery following a single-car crash in the city of Los Angeles. L.A. county sheriff’s department reported that Tiger Woods had to be extracted with the “Jaws of Life” following the wreck that occurred at 7:12 am Los Angeles time. Preliminary reports assert that authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.

The roll-over collision occurred off of the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Pallos Verdes.

The vehicle sustained major damage although it is still unclear what caused the crash. The 45-year old was taken to a nearby hospital where he is said to be undergoing surgery in both legs. Stay tuned for updates to this story and more.
